"Lateral Thinking with Withered Technology."
IngaBoard is a tribute to the "Less is More" philosophy. We reject feature-bloat in favor of focus, reliability, and structural integrity.
- The "Inga" (因果) Concept: Derived from the Japanese word for "Cause and Effect," our tool is built on the philosophy of serenity and focus. We believe that identifying a cause should be a quiet, deliberate act of truth-seeking.
- Minimalist Aesthetic: We believe that visual decoration distracts from structural truth. IngaBoard limits design variations to ensure your diagrams are clean, professional, and entirely focused on the logic at hand.
- Disciplined Thinking: By limiting edge types to directed relationships, IngaBoard enforces Causal Thinking.
The Human vs. The AI
AI is a powerful assistant, but in causal analysis, the dialogue must be direct.
The back-and-forth "chatting" required to refine a complex diagram via AI is often slower and more prone to hallucination than a human’s focused input. IngaBoard removes the noise. It is a "Fast Tool" for "Deep Thinking."
Withered Technology, New Directions
Inspired by Gunpei Yokoi’s philosophy of "Lateral Thinking with Withered Technology" (枯れた技術の水平思考), IngaBoard is built on C++ and the legendary Graphviz™ engine. We use stable, time-tested technologies in a focused, innovative way. While we avoid making absolute claims about the future, our design goal is for IngaBoard to remain functional as long as your operating system supports its standard foundations. We prioritize longevity over ephemeral trends.
- Our Respect for Graphviz™: We don't claim to have reinvented the wheel. IngaBoard is a specialized interface for the power of Graphviz. By honoring its mathematical rigor, we provide a layout that respects the laws of logic.
